How to read a peptide CoA — batch, HPLC and content

Check a peptide Certificate of Analysis step by step: batch identity, sample type, HPLC, MS, quantitative content and test scope, including Retatrutide 40 mg.

A Certificate of Analysis connects test results to a particular sample and acceptance criteria. Establish what was tested and which batch it represents before interpreting percentages, plots or a pass statement.

01 / CHECK AND COMPARE

1. Match the document to the material

Compare the sample name, LOT or batch, report number, analysis date and issuer with the label and delivery documents. The WHO model includes methods, results and limits. It provides a reading framework, not certification of a SUBVERIX product.

Identify the sample stage: raw material, lyophilisate or filled cartridge. A raw-material report does not automatically describe the product after formulation, closure and transport.

02 / CHECK AND COMPARE

2. Read the result with its method and unit

Separate the specification, measured result and test method. Pass means compliance with the stated criterion for that test, rather than every possible property.

Questions to ask about each result
CoA fieldInterpretation question
Identity / MSHow does the measurement support identification of the intended molecule?
Purity / HPLCWhich method, integration approach and detectable impurities are covered?
Assay / contentWhat was quantified, in which units and against which reference?
ND / < LOQWhat detection or quantitation limit applies?
03 / CHECK AND COMPARE

3. Separate HPLC purity from content in mg

Chromatographic purity often describes a peak's share of the integrated signal. This differs from net peptide mass or quantitatively measured content. Water, counterions and components outside the method's response may require separate measurements.

Illustration only: a 40 mg label and a 99% HPLC report do not establish that the cartridge contains a confirmed 39.6 mg of the intended molecule. That conclusion would require suitable quantitative data and a defined calculation basis. These are not test results for a SUBVERIX product.

04 / CHECK AND COMPARE

4. Identify what was not tested

MS can support identity without replacing all structural or quantitative analyses. HPLC does not replace endotoxin, sterility, residual-solvent or stability testing. Additional tests depend on the material and intended laboratory experiment.

Not detected does not mean mathematical zero. A quantitation limit concerns reliable quantitative measurement by that method. An absent test row provides no result for that property.

05 / CHECK AND COMPARE

5. Check provenance and completeness

Identify the testing laboratory, document issuer and sample submitter. A manufacturer certificate and an independent laboratory report have different origins. A logo or QR code alone does not establish authenticity.

If uncertain, verify the report number with its issuer using official contact details. Request the complete report and supporting analytical data; check consistent sample identification across its pages.

06 / CHECK AND COMPARE

Applying the checklist to Retatrutide 40 mg

Keep kit specifications separate from batch-document status. On the Reta 40 mg page, check what each available document covers and what remains pending. A report for another batch or raw material does not automatically describe the received dual-chamber cartridge.

  • Do the label, delivery and report identify the same LOT?
  • Are the sample stage, methods, results and units clear?
  • Is there suitable quantitative support for the declared 40 mg, separately from HPLC purity?
  • Does the test scope meet the needs of the planned experiment?
  • Have missing details been clarified by the supplier or report issuer?
